Beyond the Flash by Little Angel’s Spectrum Youth Theatre

Sunday 30th April, 2.30pm in Aphra Theatre (Book Free Tickets)

Followed by a Q&A with the company.

It’s a curious thing to miss someone, because no amount of missing them means that they return. Join Joel as he goes on an adventure in the sky, where seeing is not always believing and searching does not always mean finding. At least, not in the way in you might expect. Inspired by the concept of flight, Beyond the Flash uses puppetry and visual theatre to tell a heartfelt story of love, adventure and coping with loss.

Spectrum Youth Theatre have been working with award winning Smoking Apples Theatre Company to create the show and have devised, designed and made everything from scratch. Based at Little Angel Theatre (London), Spectrum Youth Theatre is a puppet youth theatre for young people with Aspergers or high functioning autism. It began in May 2014, as a pilot project with support from Turtle Key Arts, and has gone from strength to strength.   This is their third production and second collaboration with Smoking Apples.
